This is a picture of one of my favorite characters from The Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe by C S Lewis. I just finished reading the small book tonight, and I adore it. No wonder it is a classic.

This is of Tumnus, the first creature that Lucy sees when entering Narnia through the wardrobe. I was going to add the infamous oil-lamp, but I gouldnt get it to look right.

Although this picture is far from what I imagined it looking like, I'm still proud of it. I think the sketch looks much better, though. *snurk*

very nice piece of artwork! i especially adore the backround, it looks as if you gave quite a lot of effort into it. the sky looks pretty interesting (and clouds.) i like the movement you captured in snow. and the character is also nice. the only thing that might be quite strange are his hands, but they don't 'destroy' him and overall he looks well :)
ah... i almost forgot everything about this book ^^;

cool... I read that book and watched the movie a long time ago, I don't remember a lot of it... but I remember Tumnus ^^

great job, I could never put that much detail into a background :wow:

Tis a grand book, with semi-grand sequeals after it ^^ I must say I really like how his legs looked... I have no idea why this strikes my fancy so...

lol Thanks. The legs gave he a hard time, but they do look pretty good finished.

Yeah, I was the same way. I read the book in 3rd grade (9 years ago... YIKES) and I saw half of the movie. But Tumnus was my fav back then, so I just had to draw him. &;P

The BG was a bear to deal with. It still isnt perfect, but that was the best I could do. Glad you like it, though.

Yeah, I wasnt sure about the hands. But I didnt know how to change them, so I just left them how they were.
